Cold 2018 Winter Forecast for Idaho Falls, ID

La Nina pattern occur when the ocean water surface is colder than normal near the equator.  This is the situation in this year's Pacific Ocean.  As a result, the winter for the 2017-2018 Idaho Falls area is a colder than normal forecast with above normal snowfall.  

The combination of higher precipitation and lower temperatures means potential water damage.  Before winter really ramps up, take precautions to help remove potential unforeseen emergencies.
