Buckled wood floors

This week Carlos and Kale were in Island Park responding to a water loss and taking a moment to enjoy the beautiful views!!They are removing the hardwood floors because the floor had buckled causing doors and walls to shift.
According to www.nydreeflooring.com “Water is the enemy of hardwood flooring. Due to the porous nature of wood, moisture can be easily absorbed into the material. ... The wet floor may also begin to buckle and cup when large amounts of water are absorbed as the planks swell.”
Make sure to call a professional if you feel there has just been too much damage done to your flooring. The last thing you need is for the damage to continue and turn into mold. Which is a whole other issue on its own.
